Evaluation
Effective Change specialises in evaluations of programs and services that are complex, often cross-sectoral and difficult to measure.

To each evaluation, we bring skills in dealing with questions of evidence, measurement of change, engaging stakeholders in evaluative processes, analysing information and presenting complex information clearly and coherently, without losing the nuances of the human element. 

We are skilled in multiple evaluation methodologies and approaches, and can provide advice on the most suitable approach for your needs. 

Research
Research is pivotal to all of our work and is driven by our curious minds and the need to ensure your project is underpinned by an evidence-based approach. 

Our research services include literature reviews, service benchmarking, community and service needs studies, policy analysis, community profiling, and quantitative and qualitative data analyses.

We produce clear, well-structured, rigorous and accessible research reports.

Consultation & Facilitation
We use a range of consultation and facilitation tools, strategies and techniques.

Many of our projects include consultative elements, but we also provide independent facilitation services for organisations, specific meetings, events or community consultations. We work in diverse settings, large or small groups, and work with interpreters or support people as required.

We prepare outcome reports with a clear analysis of themes and issues raised and suggested recommendations.

Resource Development
Combining knowledge of the practical world of service delivery, organisational change expertise and our understanding of the need for clear communication of complex ideas, we create accessible, well-designed and practical resources. Consulting closely with you, we utilise visuals, text and design to ensure the information and key messages are tailored to your needs. We develop resources which aim to inform, excite and inspire the audience.

Planning
Effective Change can assist organisations to develop internal organisational or service plans. We are frequently engaged to assist local councils in developing external strategies and plans. 

Planning includes fusing context, policy, funding, budgets, practice, demography and service data with community and service perspectives, to deliver plans that will inspire and energise a vision, guide investment, direction and effort, support accountable management and produce realistic outcomes.

Organisational & Service Review
Sometimes the time is right to look at the operation and governance of an organisation as a single entity. We will work with you to understand the reasons for the review and develop a methodology that will provide for a considered investigation of the issues and the capacity to develop innovative but practical solutions. 

We also conduct reviews of specific services to assist in forward planning, improving service quality and solving service delivery challenges.
